Our goal is clear: to achieve Technagon’s climate neutrality through our own efforts. As part of an audit by our partner Fokus Zukunft, we identified our CO₂ emissions and developed a strategy to reduce our negative impact on the climate. The sustainability guidelines we have defined help our team to achieve this goal. In order to reduce the environmental impact of our business activities in the short term, Technagon invests in the purchase of climate certificates and supports the “CDM Bioenergy Chile” project.
What we personally do for more environmental protection:
Charging stations made from long-lasting and recyclable materials
- The housing is made of almost 100% recyclable aluminum. The plastic components also contain a 50% recycled portion.
- Thanks to the durability of the aluminum, Technagon charging stations are especially sustainable.
Special packaging design for
sustainable shipping
- The cardboard boxes specially developed for Technagon, including cardboard inlay, are adapted to the shape, size and weight of our charging stations for safe transportation.
- The packaging carton and inlay are compact for disposal and 100% recyclable.
Sustainable production and
working methods
- The PV system at the production site ensures the sustainable production of our charging stations.
- Our employees pay attention to environmentally friendly working methods and make a personal contribution to greater environmental protection.
Proximity sensor and dimming function
- Thanks to the built-in proximity sensor, our charging displays only light up during operation.
- The integrated dimming function of the light strip lowers energy consumption and reduces light pollution during the evening hours.
Service - simple and sustainable
- Thanks to the calibration certification of the charging module itself, it can be easily replaced and sent in for repair when maintenance is required.
- This saves multiple trips by a service technician and a calibration law specialist.
Electric fleet and bike leasing
- For us as a charging station manufacturer, it's a natural step, but still worth mentioning: our company fleet consists of 100% electric vehicles.
- Whether on the way to work or in their free time, our employees ensure sustainable mobility by leasing bicycles.
